Frequently Asked Questions About Visits

Pets

We encourage all of our guests to have a great time and enjoy themselves while visiting. This often means bringing along your furry friends.  Pets are welcome on the property as long as they are on a leash and well behaved.

Reservations

We are a boutique winery with plenty of outdoor seating, but limited space inside.  Seating is offered on a first come first serve basis.  However, please let us know in advance if your party of 6 or more is planning to visit our tasting room.  This ensures we can properly space out and arrange arrival times of large groups.

For groups larger than 6, please make a reservation via the link below or email: info@chestergapcellars.com

Food

Outside picnics/food are also welcome.  Should you forget your snacks, or become hungry while visiting, we offer a wide selection of meats, cheeses, crackers and locally baked artisan stuffed breads (delicious!)  No outside alcohol is permitted to be consumed on the property.  This is a strict Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) law.

Directions

We're located  at 4615 Remount Rd, Front Royal, VA 22630, just a few minutes off of Route 66.  If you are coming from the Washington, DC direction we suggest exit 13, following signs for Front Royal. Once in town, turn left onto 522 and we are a few miles up the hill. Taking exit 27 (as suggested by many map apps) is a beautifully scenic option, but will take you on many winding, hilly back roads - great choice if that's what you are looking to do.
